Pamela is revolutionising the storytelling landscape by partnering with brands, authors, and publishers to create innovative AR experiences that seamlessly combine learning and play.

Through her ventures, Just Like Me and Mixd Reality, her mission is to champion inclusion and creativity.

Her journey began with Just Like Me Books, which Pamela launched to promote diversity and representation in children’s literature. She introduced the world’s first AR children’s book featuring an autistic, mixed-heritage protagonist, allowing young readers to engage with stories that come to life in a captivating, immersive way.

Her next venture, Mixd Reality, brings together a small yet powerful neurodiverse team of award-winning entrepreneurs, creatives, parents, and tech enthusiasts. Their shared goal is to make education Extraordinary, Inclusive, and Interactive.

Through Mixd Reality, Pamela is using AR to transform education, foster empathy, and empower young minds, while also providing neurodiverse individuals with the tools and support they need to succeed.

Both enterprises are rooted in personal experience with Pamela’s autistic son Walter going from a non-speaking frustrated toddler to a confident book loving boy who has learnt to talk using picture books/ social stories and technology.
