Convenience Gallery CIC was Formed in May 2019 by friends Andrew Shaw and Ryan Gauge. Both were artists at this time struggling to find space and opportunities within their local area of Birkenhead. Since its inception, Convenience Gallery has evolved into a community-focused contemporary arts organisation dedicated to providing accessible opportunities for local communities to engage with, create, and develop through the arts. They bring art into public spaces, non-traditional environments, and mental health settings, working closely with local people to make the arts more inclusive and impactful.

As advocates for fair pay, mental health & wellbeing, and inclusion, they are committed to championing artists and ensuring meaningful arts engagement. With a small but passionate team, Convenience Gallery strives to deliver high-quality, diverse, educational, and thought-provoking programming.
