Jiten co-founded Inspirate whilst he was on a university placement in 2011. The organisation celebrates the cultural fusions that emerge from South Asian and UK cultures, producing rich creative and cultural experiences and bringing diverse communities together. Inspirate’s flagship project: An Indian Summer Festival @aisfestival explores culture, traditions, and people through talks, exhibitions, films, performances, and more. Their work with Leicester Council has also included reinvigorating the city’s annual Diwali festival (one of the biggest festivals of its kind outside India) to pioneer ways to raise the artistic quality and make it accessible to a new generation of communities.

Inspirate’s mission is to pioneer a new and inclusive approach to culture where the door is open to all.
