More about their enterprise:
Founded in Jan 2019 by Evelyn Carnate (Alisa), Lilly SnatchDragon & ShayShay, The Bitten Peach is the UK’s first queer Pan-Asian cabaret production company, made up of over 70 performers and creatives of Asian-descent who work in a variety of artistic, nightlife genres.
This includes drag, burlesque, dance, comedy, music, and circus. They seek to unite Asian diasporic communities, and their members represent East, Southeast, and South Asia.
The company has been redefining ‘drag’ and smashing race and gender stereotypes since their emergence on the UK scene.
They tell Asian stories, create safe spaces, diversify Asian representation, provide platforms, and educate on racial issues. Their mission is to empower the queer Asian community through their shows, events and collaborations.
