More about their enterprise:
Tabby started Re_Considered in 2020 with the support of Innovate UK’s Young Innovator’s Award. Driven by a deep commitment to reducing consumption and encouraging mindful purchasing, Tabby seeks to inspire a shift in how people perceive and interact with the products they own. Her work revolves around repurposing fashion waste, developing innovative solutions to the ever-growing waste crisis, and providing alternatives to fast fashion and disposable goods.
Since 2020, Re_Considered has reworked thousands of items of clothing, and is proud to be part of the slow fashion and design movement.
It’s work spans multiple activities:
- A bespoke upcycling service, turning cherished clothing into one-of-a-kind keepsakes.
- A signature collection of jewellery and hardware.
- Collaborations with businesses and institutions, including the V&A Museum and Kew Gardens, repurposing waste streams into exclusive product collections and interior fit-outs.
- Fabreco®, an innovative, sustainable material made from waste textiles and bio-resin, designed for furniture, jewellery, homeware, and beyond.
With a dynamic team blending design and engineering expertise, Re_Considered is dedicated to reshaping the future of conscious design.
