ForwardCulture is a social initiative focusing on the empowerment of South Asian women, founded by Aaminah and Seetal of TWO-BROWNGIRLS . Having established their online platform for over a decade, they decided it was time to focus on making real and personal changes in the communities around them.

A key part of Forward Culture’s mission is to promote South Asian female artists in their own right and as inspirational role models for the next generation. They have produced projects spanning book launches to films to arts educational projects.
Forward Culture also runs a mentoring programme for South Asian girls aged 18-25 so they can receive career guidance, as well as explore culturally specific issues with a South Asian female mentor.
